Construction

Handcrafted in kiln-fired stoneware, each piece is fired at high temperatures for exceptional density, strength, and weather resistance. The surface develops subtle variations through the firing process, lending each piece a distinctive, artisanal character that reflects the hand of its maker and the nature of the material.

Stoneware's natural durability makes it remarkably resistant to chipping, staining, and moisture, offering enduring beauty indoors and out. The material does not absorb liquids, making it practical for everyday use and display. Stoneware's warm, organic quality and earthy tones bring a grounded, inviting presence to any setting.

For indoor display, we recommend felt pads or protective bases to safeguard flooring surfaces. Outdoors, stoneware requires no seasonal covering or special treatment.

Care & Maintenance

Kiln-fired stoneware is inherently durable and weather-resistant, offering exceptional performance indoors and out. The firing process lends each piece a distinctive character, with subtle variations in surface and tone that distinguish it from mass-produced ceramics.

Simply clean with a soft cloth and mild cleanser. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which may dull the surface. For exterior display, stoneware naturally withstands sun exposure, rain, and temperature variation without deterioration. For indoor use, we recommend felt pads beneath the piece to protect delicate surfaces. Variations in glaze and texture are a mark of authenticity, not a defect.
